Some common side effects of the rib pain during pregnancy involves indigestion, nausea, and other unpleasant things as well. If you would like to find relief from this then there are certain stretches and positions that you can lie in. While you’re laying on that side you can slowly lift your upper trunk up and down in order to stretch the area and provide some relief. Also, it is recommended that you sleep on the side in which there is no pain. This will provide at least some relief in the midst of sharp pains.
